I had a wise woman once tell me – it’s always right to do the right thing. These are words I always try to live by and words I taught my children as they were growing up. Have you noticed that teaching your children to always do the right thing isn’t always so easy?

This week I want to look at the spiritual side of teaching our children obedience. I’m sure you already know that teaching children obedience is exhausting. What I want to tell you is the benefits of having obedient children are eternal. As a parent, teaching our children to be obedient or not will determine the trajectory of their lives, for good or for bad. Obedience is the key to their spiritual growth.
