Born Nyiesha Bell, she began singing at the age of five, and by the age of 12, she discovered her innate ability to hear and write music. In 2008, she began her professional career as a background vocalist for artists like Fred Hammond and Koryn Hawthorne, to name a few. In 2017, she then spread her wings to pursue a solo career. Ny Bell has had a vast array of musical influences; however, she accredits the pivotal force in her music to Lalah Hathaway, Sade, Anita Baker, and Brandy.
