I was so excited to spend a few mornings catching up and talking sales with my first sales manager, Betsy Delisle. From selling Cheese ( listen up), to outside sales, TV, radio and eventually being Senior VP of Sales for Clipper Magazine. Betsy has helped so many young and veteran sellers as well as been instrumental to the small biz community in Philly and Central Pa. She has so much to share, starting today with the importance of listening skills and being a Winner in difficult times.
Veteran sales leaders and long-time Clipper teammate Pat Wetherhold-Banks shares some of her passion for selling. She describes what keeps business owners up at night and we discuss the key attributes that separate good to great sales reps.
We spend some time with Donna Baez, a proven seller and sales leader with over 30 years experience in Direct Mail advertising. Donna is passionate about selling the client what they need, not what you need. We discuss selling in different regions and what can go wrong when we don't ask the right questions.
