The War and Treaty’s Michael and Tanya Trotter grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, DC, respectively, but both have family roots in the South. They also grew up in the musical traditions of their churches – Tanya in the Black Baptist Church and Michael in the Seventh Day Adventist Church – where they learned the power of song to move people. It's 20 years since Shaun Duffy was murdered in his home in West Donegal.

Mr Duffy was attacked and fatally wounded in his home at Meenacross in Dungloe in the early hours of Saturday, 29th January 2005.

His body was discovered in his home shortly before 2.30pm that afternoon.

Speaking on social media, Superintendent David Kelly of Milford Garda Station says the solving of this murder continues to be a priority for An Garda Síochána:

It's 20 years since Shaun Duffy was murdered in his home in West Donegal.

Mr Duffy was attacked and fatally wounded in his home at Meenacross in Dungloe in the early hours of Saturday, 29th January 2005.

His body was discovered in his home shortly before 2.30pm that afternoon.
