The 2024 Summer Olympics was highly watched around the world. With one sport or the other as a favorite, the Olympics is a source of inspiration for young and old alike. Congratulations to all teams from around the world, representing their countries.The USA team came back with a total of 126 medals- 40 Gold, 44 Silver and 42 Bronze! For followers of Christ, there are some lessons to glean from the Olympics. In fact, the Bible uses sports as an analogy of how Christians are to live their lives. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, states, "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.And every man that strive for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible." In this episode, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti encourage followers of Christ with three key lessons from the Olympics.
