This episode features a conversation between me and Dr. Sanda Moldovan. This is going to sound so LA, but she is my dentist who is also a nutritionist. Dr. Sanda (as she likes to be called) is an award-winning Periodontist and Nutritionist with her own practice in Los Angeles, CA. She is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and television personality consulting on oral health, periodontics, nutrition, and anti-aging. Dr. Sanda is the ‘go-to’ oral health expert for the Emmy-award winning television series “THE DOCTORS” and is a widely sought after oral health expert by NBC and CBS. She just launched her wellness brand, Orasana, and released her book: “Heal Up!: Seven Ways To Faster Healing And Optimum Health”. Originally from Transylvania in Romania, Dr. Sanda has worked extremely hard to build up her robust practice where she is helping transform her patients’ health and their lives.

I’m obviously biased when I say I love her, but she has totally changed the way I feel and think about my oral health. She taught me the importance of how our mouths are gateways to the rest of our health and immune system, which is why taking care of our teeth and gums is a crucial part of our daily routine we should not skimp on.

I was excited to talk to her about her new book, preparing your body for pregnancy, and how nutrition and healing are so important throughout that process.
