William Howard Taft delivered his inaugural address on March 4th, 1909. Read by Yuvraj Singh. A friend and adviser to Theodore Roosevelt, his ascent to the presidency would lead to a break in their friendship after his deviation from their political course. When he was up for re-election, Roosevelt ran against him and split the Republican ticket, allowing for Woodrow Wilson to win. Almost a decade after the end of his presidency, he was appointed Chief Justice by Warren Harding.
