Happy New Year! It's the beginning of 2024, and with that, there's a lot of changes in the HR laws, and we're going to talk about those changes on our podcast today.
Episode #40: Joining us from the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce, is the office manager Melissa Barnes and fellow ambassador and marketing consultant Randall Rodriguez, along with fellow Perris Chamber member Jeremiah Raxter, who is the founder and principal attorney of Raxter Law. Jeremiah explains the new state of California laws that are now in place such as the additional paid sick days, failed reproductive event law, the law that makes it illegal for an employer to discriminate or penalize an employee based on the person's use of cannabis off the job and away from the workplace and more.
