OntarioMD Groups (www.ontariomd.ca/groups) is an online collaboration tool designed to facilitate communication and workflow among physicians and other healthcare professionals. By providing an external web presence and a private intranet suite of tools, OntarioMD Groups is a versatile way to plan events, share documents, and engage in discussion with peers. The OntarioMD Groups project is the first iteration in a fully user-driven communication and collaboration platform. The project is currently being piloted with a diverse population of both clinical and non-clinical users.
