Megan shared her personal experience of her family's struggles and how the support of a local church helped them overcome challenges and heal. This experience drove her to create Better Together, which focuses on empowering churches and local communities to support families in need before government intervention is required.

They discussed the importance of work and dignity in keeping families together, leading to the creation of Better Jobs and Better Families ministries. They also explored the journey of finding confidence in one's calling and unique path, as well as the impact of Better Together's work on families.

Additionally, they touched on the importance of churches embracing a jobs ministry to address the underlying financial issues facing many families on the brink of foster care.
