Today’s topic is a listener request. This episode is for parents, Aunts and Uncles, and anyone who acts as a discipler to young children. Our guest, Lisa Appelo is a mother, Blogger and author. Lisa and her family experienced an enormous loss when her husband suddenly and tragically died o few days before Father’s Day. In the midst of her grief, Lisa was faced with caring for her 7 children and helping them as they processed their own grief. Through the last 10 years she and her family have learned lessons about grief and how to work through it together. Lisa and I talk through her story and she offers sage advice for creating a safe place for your children to grieve, answering their hard questions, and how the work you do to disciple your grieving child now will help them as they mature into adulthood.
