In this weeks episode of Inverted Orthodoxy, the pastors discuss the following:

Kyle, on Sunday you preached on John 17 and one of the things you talked about was "oneness" and how we should become one with other believers and not just with God (“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one."). I'm curious about the the original Greek on the word "one" in that verse (both references) and whether it is the same as the "one" used in Mark 10 in reference to marriage where "two shall become one" is referenced. If it is the same word in all three uses, then how or why does the "oneness" of marriage differ from the "oneness" referred to in John 17 with all believers or with God?

Why did Jesus say, of Jairus’ daughter, “this child isn’t dead; she’s merely sleeping “? Was Jesus being sarcastic or lying, or do you believe there is a state of non-breathing where one is not really dead?

Is it enough as Christians just to love, forgive, live like Jesus to want people to want Jesus as their personal savior? Many non Christians live their lives like this so is there any difference?

Does Jesus not say go out and make disciples?

At the start of many shows you say that you will answer the questions that are sent in, and then say that you maybe try to answer them. Would it be better to say you discuss the questions that are posed, then You don’t have to come up with an answer to them?
