Welcome to the very first episode of India on Call. In this Podcast Our hosts Abhishek and Aditya will discuss about the weekly news agenda but in the language, a common man will understand.

Don't forget to tune in to our website https://srmpodcasts.com/ for more such Podcasts.

This week was full of headlines. The major two issues worth discussing our hosts sorted are Indo-China-Bhutan conflict and Encounter of gangster Vikas Dubey.

They started with the Encounter of Vikas Dubey which has widely been criticized as a fake encounter. They discussed about the various aspect that strengthened the claim of Fake encounter. They talked about the guidelines that should be followed in an encounter and the aspects that should be taken care of care of. They later discussed about the talk of the political nexus and how the encounter is used by the state to bypass the judiciary. They also talked about the stress on the police.

The next topic they discussed about is the India-China-Bhutan conflict. Bhutan, the Himalayan kingdom wedged between India and China, is the latest victim of Beijing’s muscle-flexing. Beijing is now claiming the Sakteng Wildlife Sanctuary in eastern Bhutan, adjoining India’s Arunachal Pradesh, as a disputed area.

Abhishek told about the very reason behind China's intrusion in neighboring regions and Mao Zedong's expansion policy. Abhishek later told about the issue of conflict because of the MacMohan line and MacDonald line. They also talked about the Galway Valley clash.

Next, they talked about the India-Nepal relationship. How India and Nepal ties are very strong and China's attempt trying to bypass India from Nepal is a futile attempt.
