I’m really excited to share this conversation with Noah Malone, a Paralympic champion, on the I’ll Have Another podcast today. Noah is a six-time Paralympic medalist, bringing home medals from both the Tokyo and Paris Games, including a gold in the men’s 100 meters T12 and a silver in the 400 meters T12 this year in Paris. He specializes in the 100, 200, and the 4×1 relay, but at the Paris Olympics, he competed in the 100 and 400.

Noah is legally blind and was diagnosed at age 13 with Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy, a rare, incurable genetic disease that leads to central vision loss. In our conversation, he opens up about his journey—from competing in various sports as a child to adapting his approach to athletics as he lost his vision. Despite the challenges, Noah became the Indiana High School State Champion in the 200 meters in 2019, and he was also a key member of the 2019 Team USA Paralympic World Champion Relay Team.

His story is truly inspiring, and you can learn more about him at noahmalone1.com. Noah has also written a book titled Losing Vision, Not Dreams: Reflections on My Teenage Years. You can connect with him on Instagram at @noah_malone13. I’m thrilled to bring you this episode, and stay tuned for more inspiring stories from the Paris Olympics and Paralympics coming your way in the next few weeks!
