However that was not the case at Quincy Street Distillery. Derrick Mancini, the owner is a veritable encyclopedia of whiskey lore and more specifically of whiskey in illinois. Derrick and his distiller are making turn of the century whiskey along with a whole host of other whiskies and spirits. You can taste through history at Quincy Street distillery, and before you know it, 4 hours have gone by. If you like whiskey history, stay tuned.
