Being a female means going through life proving yourself not to be the inferior gender, it means trying not to be on either side of any extreme just to save face, it means dealing with the physical complications that come with the role...but it also means living in fear of possible abuse due to reasons we can never know. This past week in Nigeria, two girls were raped and killed, one of them was in church and the other was 12 years old and gang raped by 11 middle-aged men. In this episode I ask the question...what then does what we wear or where we go have to do with us getting abused as females? We have to do better and teach more about men having self control and less about women having self preservation. The names of those girls were Uwa and Jennifer...say their names and don’t stop speaking on it.
