In today’s episode, I want to talk more about how to stay centered and intentional over the holidays. There can be a very real and isolating feeling that happens when you’re shifting your identity, and/or doing something different, and you receive judgment or disapproval from family and friends. I want you to approach this season staying grounded and remaining confident in your choices-it’s important to remember WHY you’re doing what you’re doing. The more you live life on purpose in the way that makes sense for you, the more people around you will take note, and may want to do the same.
In this episode, we cover:
- Staying grounded and having clarity in what you’re doing BEFORE you go into a space with your family and friends
- Understanding that most people are just trying to make conversation, and you’re not the only one who feels awkward and uncomfortable during holiday gatherings
- Knowing that you are in control of whose opinions actually hold weight for you, and you don’t need to listen to everyone’s advice
- The power in surrounding yourself with others who are on similar trajectories as you
- Why you shouldn’t dismiss the possibility of showing others your evolved and authentic self, and the positive impact you can leave on them
