In today`s episode, I am joined by Shihan Cameron Quinn from Gold Coast in Australia. Quinn was the interpreter for Sosai Mas Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate. Cameron Quinn is a lifelong student of Kyokushin Karate, and travelled to Japan at age 17 to train with Sosai Mas Oyama. He served as his interpreter when required uptil Oyamas death in 1994. Quinn is a highly sought after teacher in Kyokushin Karate, and I had the pleasure of training with him in my hometown back in 2017.
