The Electric Area (EA) is one of the most popular events in the capital of Slovakia – Bratislava. It was set up in the February of 2014 in cooperation with a renowned club MASQUERADE. The event is for the ones, who love new releases from the world of clubbing and EDM, the ones, who believe a DJ is an artist and the ones, who can take great delight in music. The Electric Area is like a live radio show with good vibes and the real atmosphere of the club. The banners with the EA logos are always prepared and the musical sets are juiced up by the EA jingles. The event was quickly brought into attention of many people living in Bratislava. Large numbers of fans make an appearance month after month leaving with excellent impressions and eager to attend the next episode of the event. The music is provided by the powerful duo BPM & Alex Smith. They are crazy and experienced and know how to captivate their audience. Technically they are very talented and use 4 CD players at once. With the mike they are able to rouse excitement in the whole club. Their wonderful energy is literally contagious! Undeniably they are a big part of the success of the EA project. They play House, Tech-House, Deep, Future, Progressive and Electro ☺ Every time the live set is recorded and the mix CDs from the previous nights in the club are distributed. (If the EA is in the club for the first time, the CD is recorded in advance.) The EA includes also mascots. They fool around, dance, and have fun with the crowd, but most importantly the mascots take pictures with the people to make sure they can have a pretty memory of the wonderful evening ☺ (The choice of mascots is always up to the club.)
