Melissa is known as the Concussion Coach, and she says she got the idea for her book courtesy of multiple hits to her head with a softball. But getting the concept down pat was easier compared to writing it due to writer's block. She compensated for them by taking rest periods, and she says Angela's book writing program helped her identify her ideal reader which she thinks was crucial to her success.
