In segment 2, Mary-Thomas Hart, Chief Counsel at National Cattlemen's Beef Association discussed the win for common sense in the Supreme Court's recent ruling in Sackett V EPA. With debt ceiling negotiations happening in DC, Center for Practical Federalism Fellow Steve Johnson joined the show to look at the impact of federal funding on state budgets, and how that could change with a deal. We closed with Naomi Blohm, who is encouraging cattle producers to keep an eye on the markets and use these prices to lock in some sales.
