On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about why we must not avoid dealing with all sorts of traumas in our lives. Trauma can be an extremely distressful and upsetting experience that has lasting consequences in an individual's life. Recognizing and responding to its impact is essential in moving forward and healing; unfortunately, many avoid their trauma out of fear, shame, or a lack of understanding on how best to handle it. Ignoring trauma in marriage can be extremely damaging. Unaddressed trauma from either partner can create conflict, communication breakdown and an overall lack of emotional intimacy - making it crucial that both partners identify and address any trauma intentionally to ensure a strong and fulfilling relationship. Identification of trauma can be a challenging task, but it is crucial that you first recognize that you have been exposed to it and its effect. Watch for patterns of behaviour, emotions, or thoughts related to trauma; seek support from a therapist or support group and seek counselling services as necessary in order to work through your experience and develop coping mechanisms. Finding solutions proactively is also essential, meaning actively searching out resources and support systems to assist with healing from trauma, such as therapy, self-care practices or support groups. Keep in mind that healing from trauma takes time, patience and perseverance - you need not do it all alone! Avoiding trauma may seem tempting, but doing so could have lasting repercussions for individuals and relationships alike. It is vitally important that trauma be identified and addressed deliberately in order to move forward and build healthy and fulfilling relationships - with proper support and resources, healing from trauma is achievable. I believe after listening to this episode, you will identify your trauma and fins solutions for them. On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about Anger And Disagreement Is Good In Marriage . I share why we must be reflective and intentional in dealing with anger and disagreement because spousal anger and disagreements can be caused by various factors, including communication breakdown, financial issues, differences in priorities, trust issues, differences in parenting styles, mental health issues, and stress and fatigue. By understanding the root causes of conflict, couples can work together to resolve conflicts and maintain a healthy and happy relationship. Anger can be a good thing in marriage if it is managed and expressed in a healthy and constructive manner. Here's why: Helps Identify Issues: Anger can be a signal that something is not right in the relationship. By acknowledging and addressing the underlying issue, couples can work together to improve their relationship. Encourages Communication: Anger can prompt partners to communicate and express their feelings, which can lead to a better understanding of each other's perspectives. Facilitates Conflict Resolution: When anger is expressed in a healthy and respectful way, it can lead to a resolution of conflicts and help to strengthen the relationship. Promotes Growth: Working through conflicts and disagreements can help couples grow and mature as individuals and as a couple. Improves Emotional Intimacy: When partners communicate and work through conflicts, they can deepen their emotional connection and intimacy. It's important to note that anger can only be a positive thing in marriage if it is managed and expressed in a healthy manner. Couples can benefit from learning healthy communication skills and anger management techniques to help them effectively express their emotions and resolve conflicts. I believe after listening to this episode, you will agree with me that anger and disagreement is not completely evil emotion. You can use it to thrive in your marriage and all its benefits are for grabs for both parties in the marital union. I will like to continue the support and ensure your marriage soars each day as God has designed it to be. On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about EThe Difficult Spouse In A Difficult Marriage! What are the SIGNS OF A DIFFICULT POUSE? It is possible to have a difficult spouse in many ways. Each person will experience different signs. These are signs that a person is likely to be a difficult spouse. 1. Emotional or verbal abuse. A spouse that is difficult may use verbal and emotional abuse to control or manipulate the other. This may include criticizing, belittling, or insulting their partner as well as gaslighting and making them question their reality. 2. Control and manipulation: A spouse with a difficult relationship may try to influence their partner's thoughts, actions, and decisions. You might see them using manipulation techniques such as withholding information or affection, threatening to end your relationship, or making you feel guilty for not doing what you want. 3. Unresponsive and uncooperative: A spouse with a difficult relationship may be unresponsive, uncooperative, and not willing to communicate, make decisions, or solve problems. They may be unwilling to hear their partner's viewpoint, dismiss their concerns, or compromise or find solutions. 4. Infidelity: A cheating spouse can either be emotionally or physically abusive. This can cause great emotional pain and distrust in the relationship. 5. Inability to feel empathy or compassion: A spouse who is not able or willing to help their partner may lack compassion and empathy. They may be indifferent or disinterested in their partner’s happiness or well-being or even enjoy causing them distress. 6. Inconsistency. An inconsistent spouse can be difficult to predict what their partner will do or how they will react. This can lead to uncertainty and insecurity within the relationship. It is important to recognize that every relationship and each person are unique. If you believe your spouse is acting out of control, it is important that you seek professional help to resolve the problems in your relationship. Remind yourself that change is possible and many couples can improve their relationship through counseling, therapy, and other support. On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about Every Marriage Has A Narcissist . I share why we must be intentional in finding out how to manage and deal with a narcissist. A narcissist is someone who has an inflated sense of self-importance and a lack of empathy for others. They often seek constant validation and attention and can struggle with feelings of insecurity and vulnerability. These traits can manifest in a variety of ways in a romantic relationship and can have a significant impact on the quality of the marriage. One of the most common ways narcissism can manifest in a marriage is through a lack of emotional intimacy and connection. Narcissists often struggle with vulnerability and may have difficulty opening up to their partners emotionally. They may also prioritize their own needs and desires over those of their partner, leading to a lack of empathy and consideration in the relationship. Living with a narcissist can be emotionally and mentally draining for the partner. They may feel constantly invalidated, dismissed, and unimportant. This can lead to feelings of low self-esteem and self-doubt and can make it difficult for the partner to assert their own needs and boundaries Key Highlight Who Is A Narcissist? (00:03:09) Symptoms of A Narcissistic Behaviour (00:06:40) Border Line Between A Self-Absorbed Narcisist And Self-Love (00:15:46) Practical Ways In Dealing With A Narcissist (00:23:45) God, Prayer And Narcissism (oo.41.08) In conclusion, every marriage has a narcissist, whether it's one or both partners. On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about Sex Positions and Orgasm . I share why we must be intentional in finding out how to satisfy our spouse's needs by practicing THE PRINCIPLES OF SEXUAL INTIMACY AND COMFORTABLE SEX POSITIONS FOR MUTUAL PLEASURE DURING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE . Pleasurable sex is an important aspect of a healthy and fulfilling marriage, and comfortable positions can play a significant role in achieving this. Not only do comfortable positions increase physical pleasure, but they can also enhance emotional intimacy and connection between partners. One of the most important things to consider when choosing a sexual position is the comfort and pleasure of both partners. This includes taking into account any physical limitations or restrictions, such as back or knee problems, and finding positions that accommodate these. Some positions, such as the missionary position, may be less physically demanding and therefore more comfortable for some individuals. Another important factor to consider when choosing a sexual position is the level of intimacy and connection desired. Positions that involve more physical contact and eye contact, such as the face-to-face position, can foster a deeper emotional connection between partners. Positions that involve more physical separation, such as the rear-entry position, may be more suitable for those who prefer a greater sense of independence or privacy. Experimenting with different positions can also be a fun and exciting way to spice up a sexual relationship. The "woman on top" position, for example, allows the woman to control the pace and depth of penetration, which can lead to increased pleasure for both partners. It's also important to remember that comfort and pleasure are not mutually exclusive and that there are many ways to make a position more comfortable without sacrificing pleasure. In conclusion, pleasurable sex is an important aspect of a healthy and fulfilling marriage, and comfortable positions can play a significant role in achieving this. Experimenting with different positions can be a fun and exciting way to spice up a sexual relationship while taking into account physical limitations and the level of intimacy desired. On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about Foreplay's Secret Of The Bible . I share why we must be intentional in finding out how to satisfy our spouse's needs by practicing UNCONDITIONAL LOVE from the heart with full selflessness. Many marriages are not experiencing the full potential of exploring each other's erotic powers. We rush love-making as if we are being pursued and hunted. You need to start by finding out and then, practicing ways to satisfy each other without judgment, criticism, and being sarcastic. Each spouse deserves to enjoy sexual fulfillment just as much as the other spouse. It's important you understand your personal urges by knowing your sexual responses and needs. For each individual, what turns them on and what puts them “in the mood” can be different. It also vastly depends on gender. For males, the sensuality and erection stimuli often stem from visual/ sensory cues, whilst for women, it’s often some sort of deeper connection that arouses them. As you aligned at different levels of intimacy, you must selflessly stalemate your spouse's erogenous zones, to discover what is working and what you must do more, to take them to their sexual heaven. Key Highlights Don't Take Your Spouse For Granted. Enjoy Him Or Her Now, Before It's Too Late. (02:02) Foreplay Is The Bedrock Of Having An Incredible Sex Life (07:08) Unconditional Love: The Foreplay Secret Of The Bible (09.48) Intimacy Fuels Foreplay Tremendously(16:50) Your Erogenous Zones Are Not For Show But For Erotic Touching And Stimulation. (31:51) Your Body Was Provided By God To Be Explored In Holy Matrimony : Allow It To Be Touched And Explored For Deeper Treasure Hunting Exercise. (43:24) Take Intentional Action Today By Acting With Unconditional Love (45:00) I believe after listening to this episode, you will agree with me that sexual satisfaction is for both genders in the marriage. On today's episode of Married Life Management Podcast, I am talking about Sexual Satisfaction Is Only For Men . I share why we have such a huge gap between the intimate fulfillment of a man and a woman in a matrimonial relationship. This gap is what researchers called THE ORGASM GAP. Many marriages are struggling because the ultimate secrets of sexual fulfillment in their marriage are not fully implemented and experienced. This episode will show you- The What, The How, and The When to start enjoying your intimate life like never before. Given the visual urges of a man, it’s a no-brainer that men are attracted to their wives. Similarly, for women, a thoughtful conversation and talking about feelings can be the ideal foreplay. Key Highlights The missing link between male and female sexual satisfaction in marriage (02:43) What is the average time it takes a male and a female to climax during sexual intercourse? (05:37) Sexual response circle of a man and a woman in marriage (07:26) Why do we have this orgasm gap in marriage? (10:13) Types of orgasm to explore in your marriage (17:39) The Erogenous Zones: Male and Female (22:40) Common Sexual Challenges In The Bedroom (24:28) Benefits of sexual satisfaction in marriage (31:45) Secrets of long-lasting sexual satisfaction in marriage (35:30) Plan, prepare and participate in making your sexual life great each time (40:20) I believe after listening to this episode, you will agree with me that sexual satisfaction is for both genders in the marriage. Marriage is sup[pose to be fulfilling to both parties and so is sex as well. When sexlessness is less and love is less, then, the marriage might be needing to uplift and spark a revival. Marriage and love are like carriage and horse. But, marriage and sex are not entirely connected, especially when sex is less and less your relationship. A sexless marriage is where 9 or 10 sex encounters happen in a marriage within a year. You might say, I am not interested in the number but, it matters too because, if you are enjoying something, you won't do less of it, right? There could be many factors causing this state in your marriage today and you must pay attention to this episode. I will try and answers these common questions below in this episode today: Why would a woman stay in a sexless marriage? What is sex and what is sexless? What does sex in marriage look like? What does normal and abnormal sex in marriage look like? What To Do If You Have A Sexless Marriage How it feels to live in a sexless marriage Should I Be Worried About My Sexless Marriage? Are You in a Sexless Marriage? How damaging is a sexless marriage? What are the effects of a sexless marriage on a man or a husband? What are the effects of a sexless marriage on a wife? Should a man or woman stay in a sexless marriage? Why would a woman stay in a sexless marriage? If you and your partner feel disconnected or more like roommates than lovers, then, you must act now before it is too late. I have given a lot of reasons, effects, and what to do to fix this in your marriage. Talk with your spouse about how this and not be ashamed. God created sex for us and it will sad if you have the opportunity to enjoy it and you are missing out. Discuss the causes—without blame. “It’s important not to put the burden on the partner who has the lower desire. Both of you have to meet in the middle.” If a health issue is a culprit, see your doctor. Couples counseling or sex therapy can also help. Episode 4: Marriage is not biblical. Just thinking about this topic, what comes to your mind first? What are you thinking about? Marriage is not biblical. This is a statement of a particular mindset and it will determine how your marriage thrives or not if you're married and even if you are not married. It's a statement of a belief system and mindset. Your belief system, your actions, and your behaviors will be directed based on that statement. So the way you are going to behave, the way you're going to act and the way you are going to do things with your spouse on a daily basis would depend on the belief system you have behind that statement. And when someone says marriage is not biblical, obviously, it's very clear that they are coming from a place or a theory that disputes or distorts the biblical standard of God's plan and purpose for marriage. And I can tell you there are a lot of theories out there, which are all unfounded about God and about marriage. And we have so many of them written everywhere. You see them in different books, on YouTube, and on social media. They write in order to discount the fact that there's no God. And when you say marriage is not biblical, you are completely saying there's no God. You're saying that there is no deity, there's no super-intelligent designer and then your theory and your belief system would definitely oppose anything that God has said about marriage. These theories are all products of men, finite minds, and foster the attempt to find God through human reasoning and the so-called scientific approach they have deployed in order to interpret their theories. such a mindset will not act based on biblical views. So, think about what is driving your behaviors and actions toward your spouse each day. If your belief system is not rooted in biblical standards, then, you will surely experience what God has not designed for your marriage. Another aspect of this episode is, where I and my wife shared our 14 lessons about our marriage. This will encourage you and help you to keep working on your selves each day. We are hoping that this last episode from the Season of -The Unpopular Truth About Marriage, will bless you. Make sure you share, download and be an implementor of all you have learned in your relationship. God bless you indeed. Marriage is critical for world longevity but singleness is more directed to human impact and exploration. Many people are married but trapped and lost in it because they had no purpose and core life discovery while they were single person. No real joy springs out of the well of constant impactful living. Some married people would be better off if they remained single for life. If your marriage scares people and it doesn't make people delight in marriage, then your marriage is causing an international marriage reputation disaster. Honestly, it is better if you were single. However, you can turn your marriage around if you are ready to change your ways and start to build a life of significance. all my single people, make sure you are not idle or waiting to be discovered. Go and discover yourself in a place of purpose and service. Don't rush to marry, otherwise, you might be rushing to come out again. But it might be too late for you. Marry intentionally and not because someone wants you to marry. Marriage is a big deal and a God’s idea Life is all about seasons of "singleness," which are seasons of preparation. In that season of preparation, you need to know what to do & how to handle yourself. Josh gives you the tools from the Bible so that you can make the most of those seasons. And once you've made it through that season you'll be ready to be selfless & complement others around you.No matter where you are in life, you can become significant for God and for humanity. If you don't begin to see singleness as a gift, you are ready to get into the gutter tomorrow. Embrace it and come up higher to a place of amazing lifestyle through singleness. Because many times we ignore the power, the advantages and the benefits of being single. Being single isn't a cause, and just because you chose to be single doesn't mean that you should live a lonely life. You should live an obscured life, unproductive life, unfulfilled life. Everything in life has its seasons. So that is why as a single person, it is important for you to know that being single is a blessing. And if you utilize the opportunity and this time of singleness, you can have one of the greatest marriages you can ever think about. Marriage prepares you to be happier. You must be happy before you marry. Happiness cannot be tied to be a behaviour of your family. If you’re getting married with your own happiness as your main goal, you will be disappointed in a severe way. Marriage is not about your happiness, it’s not even about you. It’s about love—which is something we choose to give time and time again. It’s about sacrifice, serving, giving, forgiving—and then doing it all over again. No wonder we choose divorce overcommitment. Because often, we’re choosing “personal happiness” over real commitment, over real love. They say marriage teaches you more about selflessness than you ever wanted to know. I have definitely found that phrase to be true in my relationship with my husband. Because at the heart of it, real love is all about sacrifice. About the giving of yourself, in ways big and small. It’s about offering forgiveness when you’ve been hurt. It’s about giving your time though it’s not always convenient. It’s about sharing your heart when you’d rather hold back. It’s about cleaning the kitchen after a long weekend, even if it’s your least favourite job. It’s about choosing to respond with love when you’d rather respond in anger. It’s about offering a listening ear, when you’d rather tune out or go to bed. It’s about putting someone else’s needs and desires before your own. It’s about giving up that last bite of cake, just so your spouse can enjoy it. It’s about laying down your rights, to make way for the rights of another. The list could go on and on, but it always ends with the same formula: You before me. And we before I. We live in a world that despises the sacrificial side of marriage and tries to wish it away. They teach to strive for power, control and the upper hand in a relationship. They tell us to do what feels right, and not to tolerate anything less. They fool us to thinking that love is about doing what makes us happy. And the second we feel less than happy, they encourage us to bail, to abandon ship and to stop investing. But they’ve got it all wrong. Because the more we give, the better we become. Real love is not self-seeking, and it will always cost you. It will cost your heart, your time and your money. It will cost your comfort, your rights and your pride. It will cost you to “lay down your life” for the life of another . And only those who learn to die to themselves are the ones who get to experience the resurrection power that comes with it—resurrection into real love, into real life, and into meaningful relationships. God's desire is that we are happy in Him and that His words are our bedrock in all matters of marital standards. Focus on building yourself up in God and see Him transform your life from the inside, that helps you to give what is in you. As you listen to this episode , make up your mind to focus on God and him only. Happiness and peace will become your default.
