Yes, sometimes cheaper offers have higher conversion rates. But it is only one factor!
For most people, the thing that would drive better conversion rates is something other than price.
I once heard the saying that there's no price low enough for something that someone doesn't want to buy, and there's no price low enough for someone who never intended to buy from you.
