Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” ROMANS 12:1 DEVOTION Based on Romans 12 Paul urges us to respond to God’s mercy with total surrender. Offering ourselves as a “living sacrifice” means giving God our whole lives—our thoughts, desires, actions, and daily decisions. It’s not a one-time act but a daily commitment to live for His glory. This kind of sacrifice isn’t about loss; it’s about worship. When we live in obedience and holiness, we honor the One who gave everything for us. In view of His mercy—His forgiveness, love, and grace—it’s only reasonable that we offer ourselves fully to Him. Take a moment tonight to examine what you’re offering to God. Breathe out self-centeredness, and breathe in surrender. Ask Him to help you live wholly devoted to Him each day. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His abundant mercy and grace. Worship Him as the One who is worthy of your entire life and devotion. CONFESSION: Reflect on areas you’ve held back from surrendering. Confess any reluctance or divided loyalty, and ask for a heart fully yielded to God. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for accepting you and calling your life valuable in His service. Express gratitude for the privilege of offering yourself to Him in worship. SUPPLICATION: Father, I give myself to You as a living sacrifice. Help me walk in holiness and obedience. Use my life to bring You glory, and teach me to serve You with my whole heart. PRAYER “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” ROMANS 12:1 Dear Lord, You are worthy of an abiding, steadfast, and faithful devotion. I do not want to give You the leftovers of what I have, rather, I want to give You all of who I am. I know there are no words or songs I could offer that would ever replace an obedient and faithful life lived after You. Equip me with the endurance it takes to be faithful every day. I do not want to obey You in spurts. I want to run toward You until the day I die. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Galatians 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” GALATIANS 5:16 DEVOTION Based on Galatians 5 Paul gives us a simple yet powerful truth—when we walk by the Spirit, we are empowered to overcome the desires of the flesh. The Christian life isn’t about willpower alone; it’s about yielding to the Holy Spirit’s leading. As we walk in step with Him—through prayer, Scripture, and obedience—we experience victory, freedom, and growth. The flesh pulls us toward selfishness, impatience, and sin. But the Spirit leads us into love, peace, self-control, and a life that honors God. Every moment we choose to walk in the Spirit is a step toward holiness and away from harmful desires. Take a moment tonight to realign your walk. Breathe out fleshly distractions, and breathe in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to help you live each step in His power. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for giving His Spirit to lead and strengthen you. Worship Him as your guide and your source of true freedom. CONFESSION: Reflect on areas where you’ve walked in the flesh rather than the Spirit. Confess those choices, and ask for renewed alignment with His will. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the power of the Holy Spirit working in you. Express gratitude for the victories He’s already given and for His constant presence. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to walk in the Spirit daily. Teach me to listen for Your voice and follow Your lead. Fill me with the desire to please You and the strength to resist the pull of the flesh. PRAYER “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” GALATIANS 5:16 Dear Lord, Despite my noble desires to follow You faithfully, sometimes my flesh leads me to make the wrong decision. But You, oh Lord, are faithful to correct and comfort me when I am led astray. You offer me Your Spirit to guide and convict me. I pray that I would walk by the Spirit and starve the flesh of gratification. I pray that You would replace my selfish desires with holy ones – desires of love, patience, and service to others. I pray for Your continual grace when I stumble, and strength when I am weak. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Pray 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 PETER 5:8 DEVOTION Based on 1 Peter 5 Peter warns us to stay alert and spiritually aware. The enemy is real and active, looking for opportunities to divide, distract, and destroy. We are not called to live in fear, but in readiness—grounded in truth and anchored in Christ. To be “sober” means to be clear-minded and self-controlled; to be “vigilant” means to stay watchful and prayerful. Through God’s Word, prayer, and community, we are equipped to recognize the enemy’s tactics and stand firm in faith. Take a moment tonight to center your heart. Breathe out complacency, and breathe in spiritual alertness. Ask God to help you walk in awareness, clothed in His protection and wisdom. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for being your protector and defender. Worship Him for His power that keeps you safe and gives you strength to stand. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve let your guard down spiritually. Confess any areas where you’ve been distracted or complacent. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His Spirit, which alerts and equips you. Express gratitude for the armor He provides and His presence that surrounds you. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to stay alert and grounded in You. Strengthen me to resist the enemy and walk in spiritual wisdom. Keep my heart focused and my spirit vigilant, trusting in Your power to guard me each day. PRAYER “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 PETER 5:8 Dear Heavenly Father, Please help us to be alert and ready for any challenge that comes our way by keeping ourselves spiritually fit. Equip us with endurance so we can remain strong in times of difficulty and not be overwhelmed by troubles. Give us a spirit of courage so that we may fearlessly face adversity and with Your help, overcoming any obstacles that stand in our way. Help us to remember that You are always near and faithful to support us when we lean on You in prayer. May we never forget the depths of Your mercy nor the abundance of Your grace. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” EPHESIANS 4:24 DEVOTION Based on Ephesians 4 This verse calls us to live out our new identity in Christ actively. When we surrender to Him, we are made new—our old ways are left behind, and we are clothed with the character of Christ. “Putting on the new man” means choosing daily to walk in righteousness, shaped by God’s truth and holiness. This transformation is not something we earn—it’s a gift from God. But we must live it out intentionally, turning from sin and choosing to reflect Jesus in our thoughts, words, and actions. The new life we’ve been given is meant to look different because it’s rooted in Him. Take a moment tonight to reflect on the life you’re putting on. Breathe out old habits, and breathe in the righteousness of Christ. Ask Him to help you live each day in the fullness of your new identity. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for making you new in Christ. Worship Him for His righteousness and holiness that now define your identity. CONFESSION: Reflect on ways you’ve slipped back into old patterns. Confess them honestly, and ask for strength to live according to the new life God has given you. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the gift of transformation. Express gratitude that He clothes you in righteousness and empowers you to walk holily. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to live out the new life You’ve given me fully. Teach me to avoid what is false and embrace what is holy. Let Your righteousness guide my heart, and may my life reflect the truth of who I am in You. PRAYER “And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” EPHESIANS 4:24 Dear Lord, You have given us the strength to truly change our lives. We can no longer cling to the old person who strayed from Your path, but must put away that part of us and become new. Help us to embrace spiritual fitness, as we strive daily for endurance in pursuing Your will. Grant us the courage to put on the new self and live our lives humbly before You. May we become transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that our actions will honor You and show Your light to those around us. Through this transformation, help us to recognize our own weaknesses and rely on You for strength. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” EPHESIANS 4:23 DEVOTION Based on Ephesians 4 This short but powerful verse speaks to the ongoing transformation God desires in us. Renewal begins in the mind—how we think, perceive, and respond to life. As we surrender to Christ daily, the Holy Spirit reshapes our thoughts, aligning them with truth, grace, and holiness. This renewal isn’t a one-time event; it’s a daily process of letting go of old patterns and embracing Christ's mind. When our minds are renewed, our actions follow. We begin to live differently—not by pressure but by the power of inward change. Take a moment tonight to quiet your thoughts before God. Breathe out confusion or negativity, and breathe in His truth. Ask Him to renew your mind and refresh your spirit with His perspective. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His ability to transform and renew your mind. Worship Him for giving you the mind of Christ through His Spirit. CONFESSION: Reflect on thoughts or attitudes that contradict God’s truth. Confess negativity, pride, or fear, and invite Him to change your thinking. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His patience in renewing you day by day. Express gratitude for the freedom and clarity that come through His truth. SUPPLICATION: Father, renew my mind with Your Word and Your Spirit. Help me to think thoughts that honor You and lead me to live in obedience and peace. Let my inner life be transformed to reflect Your love and truth. PRAYER “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” EPHESIANS 4:23 Dear Lord, Your Word is our source of life and energy. We humbly ask You to help us in this time of need, that by the grace of Jesus Christ we may receive clarity of mind. Grant us a new spirit, free from falsehood and despair, so that we can be renewed with a true understanding of who You are. Fill us with Your strength, that we may be able to stand firm in the faith and be rooted deeply in love. Enable us to remain devoted to You, so that our minds can be transformed into something new and fresh: a spirit of truth and righteousness. We thank You for Your mercy continually, and we praise Your glorious name. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. JOHN 15:5 DEVOTION Based on John 15 Jesus uses the image of the vine and branches to show our complete dependence on Him. Just as a branch draws life and strength from the vine, we must stay connected to Christ to thrive spiritually. Abiding in Him means daily communion, trust, and obedience—staying close through prayer, His Word, and surrender. When we abide in Him, our lives produce lasting fruit—love, patience, kindness, and more. But apart from Him, we become spiritually dry and unfruitful. True growth and purpose come only from remaining rooted in Jesus. Take a moment tonight to draw near to Him. Breathe out self-reliance, and breathe in His presence. Ask Him to help you abide in Him and bear fruit that brings Him glory. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise Jesus as the true vine—the source of life and spiritual nourishment. Worship Him for sustaining and growing you in grace. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve tried to live independently from Christ. Confess any disconnection or spiritual dryness, and ask for renewal. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His faithfulness in drawing you back to Him. Express gratitude for the fruit He’s produced in your life as you’ve remained close to Him. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me abide in Jesus each day. Keep me rooted in Your love and dependent on Your strength. Let my life bear fruit that reflects Your Spirit and blesses others. PRAYER “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” JOHN 15:5 Dear Lord, You are the source of all life and energy. You alone have the power to sustain us through all seasons of life. We are humbled to receive such support and guidance from You, Lord. May we always remember that Your Spirit is the source of our strength and the foundation of our faith. We, like branches, are dependent on the vine we draw life from – and that is You. We ask for more energy every day to serve You with all of our hearts, minds, and souls. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Prayer request to be born again and receive blessings. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16:33 DEVOTION Based on John 16 Jesus speaks these words to bring comfort and courage. He doesn’t promise a life free from trouble—in fact, He tells us to expect tribulation. But He also assures us that through Him, we can have peace even in the midst of chaos. His victory over the world gives us reason to rejoice, not fear. Christ’s triumph means that sin, suffering, and even death do not have the final word. His peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of confidence in Him. Because He has overcome, we too can walk with hope and courage. Take a moment tonight to release your worries. Breathe out anxiety, and breathe in His peace. Trust in the One who has already overcome everything you will ever face. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise Jesus for being the Overcomer of the world. Worship Him for His peace that sustains you through every storm. Let my joy be rooted in You, even when life feels uncertain. PRAYER “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16:33 Heavenly Father, We come to You in our current moments of distress, acknowledging the fear and uncertainty that life's hardships bring. Although we feel overwhelmed by the world's troubles and worries, we trust that Your love for us is greater still and will guide us through it all. Help us to know that despite any trial or tribulation that comes our way, we can take heart and be courageous in the knowledge that You will never forsake us. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Hebrews 6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil...” HEBREWS 6:19 DEVOTION Based on Hebrews 6 Our hope in Christ is not wishful thinking—it is a firm, unshakable anchor for our souls. In a world filled with uncertainty, God gives us a hope that holds steady through every storm. When our hearts feel adrift, like a boat tossed by the waves, You are an anchor for us. You are steadfast and trustworthy. This truth grounds me and keeps my anxious thoughts from consuming me. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Jeremiah 7:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” JEREMIAH 7:7 DEVOTION Based on Jeremiah 7 In this verse, God promises His people lasting security in the land He gave them—if they walk in obedience. He desires to bless and establish His people, not just temporarily but forever. Yet His blessings are tied to a relationship marked by faithfulness, not just outward religion. This verse reminds us that God’s promises are often connected to our response. He longs to give us peace, purpose, and a place of belonging, but He also calls us to live in alignment with His will. Our faithfulness invites His enduring presence. Take a moment tonight to reflect on your walk with God. Breathe out complacency and breathe in a renewed desire to live obediently. Ask Him to help you dwell in His promises through a faithful heart. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His desire to bless and establish His people. He calls us by name, affirming our value and identity in Him. Because we belong to God, fear no longer has power over us. His love secures us, and His redemption defines us. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” JEREMIAH 32:27 DEVOTION Based on Jeremiah 32 In this verse, God declares His unlimited power. As the Creator of all life, there is nothing beyond His ability. No circumstance, challenge, or prayer is too difficult for Him to handle. When we face impossible situations, we can take comfort in knowing the One who holds all power is in control. This question—“Is there anything too hard for me?”—invites us to trust fully in God’s sovereignty. Our doubts may tell us otherwise, but God’s track record of faithfulness proves that He is able to do the impossible. He specializes in miracles and breakthroughs when we least expect them. Take a moment tonight to lay your impossible situations before Him. Breathe out doubt, and breathe in faith. Trust that nothing is too hard for your God. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His omnipotence. Worship Him as the God who can do all things and whose power knows no limits. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve doubted God’s ability to intervene. Confess any unbelief and ask Him to strengthen your faith in His power. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the ways He has shown His power in your life, both in big and small ways. Express gratitude for His faithfulness and His care over every detail. SUPPLICATION: Father, I trust that nothing is too hard for You. Increase my faith as I wait on You. Move in the situations that feel impossible and show Your mighty hand in my life. Help me to walk in confidence, knowing You are able to do immeasurably more than I can imagine. PRAYER “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” JEREMIAH 32:27 Dear Lord, As I seek to rest, relax, and relieve my mind from burdens, I reflect on Your power. You are mighty, Lord God. You are able to accomplish everything You have promised. Nothing is too hard for You. I rest assured that I do not need to worry or stress over my present situation. Rather, I want to trust in Your sovereignty and focus on the things You’ve placed before me. I want to be diligent, faithful, and responsible with what You’ve given me, but I do not want to rely on my own strength. May I rely solely on the strength You provide. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” EPHESIANS 6:10 DEVOTION Based on Ephesians 6 Paul reminds us that our true strength comes from the Lord, not ourselves. We are called to be strong, but not by relying on human ability or willpower. Instead, we draw strength from God’s mighty power, which never fails. In times of weakness, uncertainty, or spiritual battle, His strength sustains and equips us. To stand firm in life’s challenges, we must continually depend on His power through prayer, faith, and Word. His might empowers us to endure, overcome temptation, and walk in victory. We are not alone in the fight—God’s strength is more than enough. Take a moment tonight to lay down your burdens. Breathe out exhaustion, and breathe in His strength. Ask Him to fill you with His power so you can stand firm and courageous in every situation. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His limitless power and strength. Worship Him as the One who fights for you and upholds you with His mighty hand. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve depended on your own strength instead of God’s. Confess any pride or self-reliance and ask Him to teach you to trust in His power. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the strength He provides each day. Express gratitude for His faithfulness in sustaining you through trials and battles you could not face alone. SUPPLICATION: Father, strengthen me with Your mighty power. Help me to stand firm in You when I am weak or weary. Teach me to rely fully on Your strength, knowing that in You, I have all I need to walk in victory. PRAYER “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” EPHESIANS 6:10 Dear Lord, You are our source and supply of strength. Culture wants us to draw our strength from income, status, beauty, and self-examination. Yet we know where real strength is drawn from. We know You are the ultimate source, the vine, and the well of power. Lend us Your might as the days grow difficult. Give us confidence in You. Establish our feet and set our minds right. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” PROVERBS 27:17 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 27 This verse highlights the power of godly relationships. Just as iron sharpens iron, strong, honest friendships help us grow in character, wisdom, and faith. True friends encourage us, challenge us, and hold us accountable. Through these connections, we become sharper—more effective and more faithful in our walk with God. We were never meant to walk alone. God places people in our lives to strengthen and refine us. Healthy relationships rooted in love and truth help us become more like Christ. As we sharpen others, we, too, are sharpened. Take a moment tonight to reflect on the people God has placed in your life. Breathe out of isolation, and breathe in gratitude for the community. Ask God to help you be a faithful friend who sharpens others in love and truth. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for the gift of friendship and community that strengthens your faith. We can never underestimate the power of relationships and how they shape our lives. Like iron sharpens iron, we are blessed to have those in our lives that sharpen us, pushing us to be better versions of ourselves. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Deuteronomy 11:8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;” DEUTERONOMY 11:8 DEVOTION Based on Deuteronomy 11 In this verse, God calls His people to obedience as the key to strength and success. By keeping His commandments, they would be empowered to enter and claim the land He had promised. Obedience is not just about following rules—it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s will so we can walk in His blessing and purpose. God’s strength flows through those who trust and obey Him. When we follow His ways, He equips us to face challenges and take hold of the promises He has prepared for us. Obedience opens the door to God’s provision, protection, and power in our lives. Take a moment tonight to reflect on your obedience to God’s Word. Breathe out resistance, and breathe in His strength. Ask Him to help you walk faithfully, trusting He will lead you to His promises. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His faithfulness to fulfill His promises. Worship Him as the One who gives strength to those who obey. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 DEVOTION Based on 2 Timothy 1 This verse reminds us that fear is not from God. He has given us His Spirit, which empowers us with courage, love, and clear thinking. Fear can paralyze us, cloud our judgment, and keep us from stepping into the life God has for us. But through the Holy Spirit, we are equipped with strength, compassion, and wisdom. When fear creeps in, we can stand firm, knowing God’s power is greater. His love casts out fear, and His Spirit calms our minds. We are not left to battle fear alone—God gives us everything we need to walk in faith and confidence. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” ISAIAH 40:29 DEVOTION Based on Isaiah 40 This verse reminds us that God sees us in our weakness and offers His strength in return. When we are weary, discouraged, or feel like we have nothing left to give, He provides the power we need to carry on. His strength is not reserved for the already-strong but for those who admit their need for Him. In times of exhaustion—physical, emotional, or spiritual—God is our source of renewal. He increases strength in ways we cannot find on our own. His power lifts us when we are faint and sustains us when we feel empty. You are never alone in your weakness; God stands ready to strengthen you. Take a moment tonight to bring your weariness to Him. Breathe out exhaustion, and breathe in His power. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 DEVOTION Based on 2 Corinthians 12 In this powerful verse, God reminds us that His grace is always enough. When we feel weak, inadequate, or overwhelmed, His strength is fully revealed. It’s not in our power that we overcome life’s trials, but in surrendering our weakness to Him that we find true strength. Paul embraced his weakness because it made room for Christ’s power to work in and through him. Rather than focusing on his limitations, he rejoiced in them, knowing they allowed God’s grace to shine. God’s strength meets us at our lowest and lifts us higher than we could ever go alone. Take a moment tonight to release your need for control. Breathe out self-reliance, and breathe in His all-sufficient grace. Trust that His power is working in your weakness. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His limitless grace and strength. Worship Him as the One who sustains you and works through your weakness for His glory. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve relied on your own strength instead of God’s. Confess your struggles with control or pride, and surrender them to Him. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His grace, which carries you through difficult times. Express gratitude for His power that fills the gaps where you feel weak or inadequate. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to rest in Your grace and not in my abilities. Teach me to embrace my weakness so that Your strength may be made perfect in me. Let Your power work in and through my life, bringing glory to Your name. PRAYER “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 Almighty God, You are the source of all strength and focus. You alone grant us the power to be brave despite difficulties and remain dedicated to our goals. Your grace is sufficient for me, though I feel vulnerable and weak in many areas. You provide a way out from my troubles and equip me with the ability to confidently persevere. I cry out to You for help, and by Your mighty power You strengthen and sustain me. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 30:33 “Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.” PROVERBS 30:33 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 30 This proverb vividly illustrates how stirring up anger inevitably leads to conflict. Just as churning milk makes butter and wringing the nose causes bleeding, forcing wrath—holding onto or provoking anger—results in strife and broken relationships. Unchecked anger doesn’t stay hidden; it produces division and harm. God calls us to practice self-control and to be peacemakers. When we respond with patience rather than fueling anger, we promote harmony and reflect His wisdom. Take a moment tonight to reflect on any anger that may be stirring in your heart. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you release wrath and pursue peace in all your relationships. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His peace and wisdom that calms strife. Worship Him as the One who calls us to be gentle and peacemakers in a world prone to anger. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve allowed anger to fester or stir up conflict. Confess any bitterness or harsh words, and ask God for forgiveness and healing. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His patience with you and for teaching you to respond with grace. Express gratitude for the relationships He has restored through His peace. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to turn away from wrath and choose peace. Teach me to respond with gentleness and patience, even in difficult situations. Let Your wisdom guide my words and actions so I may bring harmony, not strife, into my relationships. PRAYER “Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.” PROVERBS 30:33 Dear God, We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in our daily lives as we navigate feelings of anger and desires for revenge. Help us to recognize the destructive power of our words and to use them carefully and intentionally. May we speak truth in love and use our words to build others up, rather than tear them down. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. JAMES 1:20 DEVOTION Based on James 1 This verse reminds us that human anger does not accomplish God’s purposes. While there are times we may feel justified in our anger, unchecked wrath often leads to harm rather than healing. Human anger tends to focus on personal offense and retaliation rather than God’s justice and mercy. God calls us to a higher standard—to respond with patience, grace, and self-control. His righteousness is revealed through anger, love, peace, and understanding. By surrendering our emotions to Him, we become vessels of His grace and reflect His character. Take a moment tonight to release any anger that may be clouding your heart. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you pursue His righteousness through love and gentleness. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His perfect justice and patience. PRAYER “For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” JAMES 1:20 Dear God, As we come before You today, we pray for Your help in controlling our anger. We confess that at times we have allowed our emotions to get the best of us, and we ask for Your forgiveness and grace. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ecclesiastes 7:9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” ECCLESIASTES 7:9 DEVOTION Based on Ecclesiastes 7 This verse reminds us of the danger of uncontrolled anger. Anger itself is not always sinful, but when it takes root in our hearts, it can lead to foolish decisions, broken relationships, and spiritual harm. Being quick to anger often blinds us to wisdom, causing us to act impulsively rather than seek God’s peace. We are called to patience and self-control instead of letting anger control us. When we surrender our emotions to God, He helps us respond with grace rather than wrath. True wisdom is found in a heart that seeks understanding instead of reacting hastily. Take a moment tonight to reflect on how you handle anger. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you respond with patience and wisdom, guarding your heart against anger’s grip. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His patience and mercy. Worship Him as the One who gives peace and wisdom in moments of frustration. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve been quick to anger. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.” PROVERBS 19:11 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 19 This verse teaches that wisdom allows us to be patient and slow to anger. It’s easy to react when we feel wronged, but discretion—the ability to think carefully and act wisely—helps us pause, consider, and respond with grace instead of frustration. Overlooking an offense is not a weakness; it’s a reflection of strength and godly character. Forgiving others and choosing peace honors God and brings glory to the one who shows restraint. Patience and forgiveness stand out as true virtues in a world quick to judge and react. Take a moment tonight to reflect on how you handle offenses. Breathe out irritation, and breathe in God’s wisdom. Ask Him to help you respond with patience and grace, bringing glory to His name. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His patience and mercy toward you. Worship Him as the God who is slow to anger and rich in compassion. This verse calls us to let go of anger and resist the temptation to react harshly. Holding onto anger fuels unrest in our hearts, while releasing it brings peace and wisdom. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” PROVERBS 16:32 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 16 This verse highlights the power of self-control. In a world that values strength, victory, and dominance, God tells us that true greatness is found in mastering our own emotions. Controlling anger and responding with patience takes more strength than overpowering others. A mighty warrior may conquer cities, but one who rules their spirit gains something even greater—inner peace, wisdom, and the ability to reflect God’s character. The Holy Spirit empowers us to exercise patience, discipline, and grace in every situation. Take a moment tonight to reflect on your self-control. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you master your emotions so that you may walk in wisdom and strength. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His patience and self-control. Worship Him as the One who gives you strength to rule over your emotions with wisdom and grace. CONFESSION: Reflect on moments when anger or impatience controlled you. Express gratitude for the wisdom and peace He provides when you surrender your emotions to Him. SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to be slow to anger and listen quickly. Help me rule my spirit with wisdom rather than reacting impulsively. Strengthen me with patience, humility, and grace so that my actions reflect Your character. Let my life demonstrate the true strength found in self-control. PRAYER “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” PROVERBS 16:32 Dear Lord, As we meditate on our own proclivity towards anger, we ask for You to cultivate self-control in our lives. Grant us the wisdom to resist temptation and to maintain a steadfast spirit, even in the face of adversity. May we be slow to anger and quick to forgive, knowing that kindness and patience are characteristics that please You. We pray for Your guidance and strength to overcome any obstacles that may come our way, leaning on your love and power to carry us through. Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Deuteronomy 31:6 True success is not measured by personal achievements but by our impact on others lives. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: PEACE Find something that brings you joy (a favorite snack, a funny video, a pet) and savor that moment of peace. Today’s story reflects on Moses’ legacy as a faithful servant who impacted millions by obeying God’s purpose. It reminds us that true success is measured by the positive influence we have on others, not by personal achievements. STORY Bible in a Year: The Life of a True Servant Scripture Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6 King Solomon once wrote that a good name is better than precious treasure and better is the day of someone’s death than their birth. What was he getting at? How could the day of someone’s death be better than their birth? I think Moses is an excellent example of this truth. Moses left a legacy of faithfulness, courage, miracles, and breakthroughs. His death marked the end of an era of freedom and connection to God for millions of people. His birth was worth celebrating since any child's birth is precious. But what Moses did between his birth and death changed the world forever. In this Bible in a Year episode, we witness the conclusion of Moses' journey. Standing on Mount Nebo, Moses gazes upon the Promised Land, which he will never enter. This moment encapsulates the essence of legacy and the profound impact of a life dedicated to faithful service. Moses' journey from prince of Egypt to leader of God's people is marked by trials, triumphs, and an unwavering commitment to God's command. Moses' final act is a testament to the power of vision and faithfulness. His story encourages us to leave the world better than we found it, not just through glorious acts but through consistent dedication to God's will. It reminds us that true success is not measured by personal achievements but by our impact on others' lives. REFLECTION Reflect on your own life's journey and the legacy you wish to leave. Consider the ways in which you can serve faithfully in your given roles, impacting those around you positively. Like Moses, focus on fulfilling God's purpose for your life, trusting that your faithfulness will prepare the way for future blessings for others. PRAYER Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 31:6 As the Words of Numbers and Deuteronomy ring loud in my ear, I will remember that life and death stand before me each day. As a new day dawns, blessings and cursing are before me, and I will choose the path of blessings. I declare that I will not stray from Your commands Lord for in them I can find life and life everlasting. Because of my devotion to You, You will promote me in front of Your children. You will make public declaration that You have qualified me by my heart, and not by the words, standards, and accolades. Like Joshua, I will be strong and courageous! I will walk with godfidence because You’ve promised me you’d be with me. Thank You for the Moses in my life who have gone before me and have passed the baton into my hands. Let my life be a living memorial to the dedication and diligence of the mighty men and women of faith who have gone before me. I’m ready… I can do this! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Isaiah 54:10 “For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.” ISAIAH 54:10 DEVOTION Based on Isaiah 54 God’s love and faithfulness are unshakable. While the world around us may change, His kindness remains constant. Even if mountains crumble and everything familiar fades away, His covenant of peace will never be removed. Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Numbers 22:28 If God can use a donkey to speak truth, He can certainly use anyone. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: PEACE Make peace with someone you’ve had tension with—send a text or say a kind word. Today’s story highlights how God used Balaam’s donkey to deliver truth, demonstrating that He can use even the most unlikely messengers. It challenges us to stay open to God’s voice in unconventional ways and trust that He can use us for His purposes. STORY Bible in a Year: God Makes a Donkey Speak Scripture Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown. Numbers 22:31 God can sometimes speak in wild and unconventional ways. Sometimes, we must let go of what we think is ‘normal’ and embrace the fact that we worship a God who sent a fish to swallow a prophet, walked on water, and made a donkey speak… Embrace the absurd. This episode of Bible in a Year recounts the story of Balaam and his donkey. Balak, king of Moab, summons Balaam to curse the Israelites. However, God comes to Balaam at night, instructing him only to speak the words God gives him. Despite this divine warning, Balaam sets out with the Moabite officials, leading to an angel of the Lord blocking their path, visible only to Balaam's donkey. Balaam's frustration with his donkey's behavior escalates to the point of violence, yet through God's unconventional intervention, the donkey speaks, revealing the angelic presence. This moment underscores two lessons: First, God's messages and guidance can come through the most unconventional means. Don’t close yourself off too quickly to the absurd and weird events in life. There might be a message for you. Second, if God can use a donkey to speak the truth, then He can certainly use you. Stop disqualifying yourself for this flaw or that shortcoming. You’re at least more useful than a donkey. And if He can use a donkey to save a nation, just think about what He can do through you! REFLECTION Reflect on the ways you expect to hear from God and consider the possibility that He might be speaking through less conventional means. Are there "donkeys" in your life, unexpected messengers or circumstances through which God is trying to get your attention? This week, make an effort to be more attentive to the unlikely ways God might be communicating with you. PRAYER And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? NUMBERS 22:28 When I begin to take territory on Your behalf, Lord, I thank You in advance for protecting me against the plots and plans of others to curse my life and to create chaos. However in the midst of Your protection, Lord, protect me from myself when I try to move on my own accord. Like Balaam and his donkey I know that You can and will use any sign to stop me from moving in a direction You do not desire me to go. Therefore, keep my mind attentive and alert to see the signs that You’ve placed around my life to protect me. Open my eyes and my ears so that I can hear Your message through different vessels. I decree and declare that I will not allow pride to get in the way of my protection. You have my heart, You have my ears and You have my unwavering devotion, now and forever! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…
