Today Ps. Tim wraps up the Dare to Believe series with its 2nd part - Sacrifice.
Sacrifice is a Godly act, first performed by Him, but an often misunderstood and misinterpreted one.
As we look forward to the celebration of God's ultimate Sacrifice, Ps. Tim highlights the true meaning of Sacrifice and God's first sacrifice and how God continues to sacrifice for us, even today.
The concept of a Sacrifice is extremely powerful and intrinsically holy. So how do we access this great power?
Sacrifice is intentionally difficult. If it is was easy, everyone would do it, however, through suffering comes reward.
We can never ignore the power of:

1. Sacrificial Prayer,
2. Sacrificial Giving and,
3. Sacrificial Finances

Sacrifice is devoid of quantity, it's the heart with which the sacrifice is made which truly counts.
A single mother, gladly donating her last $10 while offering prayers of Thanks to the Lord, is truly holy.
She will be seated at the right hand of God ahead of a Billionaire offering a generous $1 000 000, from their office, as something which is easy and affordable.
The heart with which the sacrifice is performed, is far more important than what is actually sacrificed.
Sacrifice is never about us but rather about furthering God's Kingdom and the side effects are what are good for us.
This was enlightening to me and given me a very different view of my service to LifeHouse.
