Tupac Shakur was one of the most influential, best-selling rappers of all time despite his untimely death at only 25 years old. To really understand the circumstances surrounding his murder–which officially remains unsolved to this day–you have to know who he was, where he was from, and how the world he lived in had influenced him. In this first of two parts about Tupac, we not only discuss his beginnings but also various crimes that impacted the trajectory of his life.
