A beautiful long term study was done on centenarians, who are people who reached the age of 100 years AND BEYOND Because life expectancies worldwide are below 100 years, the term is associated with longevity. In 2012, the United Nations estimated that there were 316,600 living centenarians worldwide. They are called the blue zones. Those communities are in Ikaria in Greece, Sardina in Italy, Okinawa in Japan and Loma Linda in California. What they have found from these studies is that their community life is essential to them, their faith is strong, their continue being active, garden and walk into their 100's.
Eating healthy does not need to be complicated nor does it need to have a fancy title or a label.
