Manage episode 323138522 series 3328720
Hockey Dream Team is the twelfth season of the Half Court Press Podcast. In this series we hear from a variety of members of the global hockey community, including players, coaches, umpires and journalists. In each episode Tao MacLeod speaks with hockey personalities, about topics relevant to them and the sport. Then the guests give their picks for a six-a-side hockey team. One guest chooses a men's team, whilst the other puts forward a women's side. The debate is then who we have for a combined mixed gender six-a-side Dream Team.
Taff Ahmed is the founder and editor of sports media brand The Hockey Family. He is also the host and producer of the podcast show Talk Hockey Radio. In addition to these roles within the world of journalism and entertainment, Taff is a coach and Hockey Maker - the people who help organise events at the Lee Valley Hockey Centre, in London. Taff picks the men’s six-a-side team.
Coti Barrandeguy plays for the Woodlands School Hockey Club, in Montevideo, and the Uruguayan Ladies National Team. She has represented her country in all three formats of the sport in hockey 5’s, at the Youth Olympics, indoor hockey, at the Pan Americans, and the 11-a-side outdoor game at the FIH Open Series, as well as other tournaments. Coti picks the women’s six-a-side team.
