Dealing with trauma is a life-long journey. Grace started dating a much older guy at the age of 17. Being in a manipulative relationship has pushed her into a deep depression, where even washing her hair seemed like an impossible mission.

One day, she told herself: "I'm so unhappy. I'm consistently in pain. How do I make this stop? There's got be a way." Then she began her journey of nurturing her mental health.

Grace is a first-generation Korean immigrant growing up in the US. Speaking better English than her parents, she acted as her own parents often in her early childhood. She's a strong woman.
