In this episode I chat with the German Historian, Juliane Furst. In her recently published book, 'Flowers through Concrete', Juliane documents her ten years research into the hippy scene behind the Iron Curtain. It is an amazing subject, and an amazing piece of work. To be honest if you had asked me a year ago I would have said 'No, I don't think that could possibly have ever happened", but it did. We talked about so much! As is my way, I let the conversation stray where it wanted to go, and hands up, we do go off the point here and there, but it's all good stuff.
