Mia has been working in the world of education all her life. She is gifted, passionate and insightful with regard to the inner working of teenagers. Tonight we explored the headspace of many teens who fundamentally lack confidence and fear self expression.
I just love how Mia plays the goofball with her teenage students, when in truth she is lovingly guiding them toward backing themselves and exploring their voice and point of difference. Perfectionism and confidence is about needing to feel in control at a point when most teenagers feel completely out of control.
