In this episode I talk with host of the podcast “Evolving Man” Ben Goresky. Ben is an addictions counselor, coach and an explorer of consciousness. Ben shares stories of his childhood and dealing with bullying and later addiction through high school. He tells us about going through rehab at 15. He tells about later in life finding a men’s group that pushed him to start his own men’s group that now has over 50 circles of men.

Ben tells us the difference between masculine and feminine energy and the beauty and power in both. He shares how a men group opened and ignited certain masculine energies in him. He tells us about an acronym of masculinity one of his teachers taught him called PCP which stands for Presence, Claim and Penetration. He explains this and how you used this to ignite his masculine energies which allowed him to find his true calling.

Ben helps people with relationships. Ben tells us how we are all enacting unconscious patterns in relationships and we have to recognize these patterns before we can change them. Ben talks about how he was constantly avoidant the further he got in a relationship and how tons of men run this exact pattern these days. Ben tells us about the work he did to acknowledge and deal with the fear that is at the root of that to allow more intimate relationships.
