What if weight loss doesn’t work? with Diane Lawrence
Manage episode 344627766 series 2630153
Have you ever struggled to lose weight? Maybe not much more than a few pounds came off, maybe none at all, or maybe it came back on too soon.
Today’s interview might be inspiring. I talked to a person who had unsuccessfully tried to lose weight many times. She even found that the Metabolism Reset Diet didn't work at first. Yet she stuck with it and went on to lose over 60 pounds.
One of the biggest things holding us back is our weight. It can give us so many symptoms and it can feel like it can't ever change. So many try hard to lose those excess pounds. Some are successful, some are not.
Joining us today is Diane Lawrence. She's been very public about her story and she wanted to share it with everyone. It’s pretty inspiring, she had a massive change in body weight and a pretty big shift in health overall. It took her a few years. She had some false starts along the way but, eventually, became successful.
She will talk about some ins and outs on how that worked for her journey and just some inspiration. People realize that weight can be the cause of symptoms. Good thing is, it can change and even if nothing is worth before, it's still possible.

"You've lost some weight, now, force yourself every day! I'm going to walk. I am going to do an elliptical. I am going to do a bike. I'm doing something for me and it's you right here that counts in making those little changes every day. In time, you're going to feel amazing."
