Why Self-Leadership is Essential with Shanna Kabatznick
Manage episode 330595835 series 3342754
Consider the people in your life. Do you have people who support and believe in you even when you doubt yourself? Do you have a community of women you turn to when chip happens?
Well, today’s gal pal, Shanna Kabatznick, recognized that all women are innate leaders no matter what role they play and that women need community. And, it all starts with self-leadership.
As a Latina woman who spent over 20-years in the male-dominated insurance and financial services industries, Shanna has turned her experience into a platform that encourages, empowers, and educates teams and leaders. Author of Called to Lead: Success Strategies for Women, she is a speaker, trainer, and facilitator who is passionate about connecting with people and energizing them into taking action. I think it’s her big smile and laughter, but maybe that’s just me.
In this episode we talk about:
- Leadership is not a title
- It is not selfish to take care of ourselves first
- Women are leaders no matter which role they are in
- Aligned strengths are what connect us to others
