Instead of moving forward into the purpose piece of my book, I decided to bring it back one more time to Part 1 of my book, since Valentine’s Day is this month, and you may be having some struggles emotionally.

Today’s devotion is about what happens when we are the one who messed up a good relationship. The scripture reference is Genesis 3:16 (AMP).

Did you know that you can still have a broken heart, even if you were the one who was in the wrong? And man, that’s a tough pill to swallow–to hurt and lose the person that you love.

I can’t guarantee that person will forgive you or would want to continue the relationship. It really is their choice, and you have to respect whatever decision they come to. However that’s not what this devotion is about.

I can absolutely guarantee that God will forgive you and continue to desire relationship with you. Don’t let the guilt, shame, or embarrassment from what you did keep you in a low place. Apologize to the person, be remorseful, and repent.

After that, get on your healing journey, so you can move forward with your life and become a better version of yourself. Listen up Sis!
