Man muss die Feste fallen lassen, wie man feiern will. Gemäß diesem Motto feiern wir heute ein Minijubiläum, denn wir haben zu unserem eigenen Erstaunen bereits zehn Folgen produziert. Und um beim Thema - zehn - zu bleiben, besprechen wir heute zehn Dinge, die die Naturwissenschaft vor zehn Jahren noch nicht wusste, konnte oder kannte. Die Auswahl erfolgt hierbei entlang eines persönlichen Begeisterungsgradienten und erhebt keinerlei Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit. Und so unterhalten wir uns über Krebs, Corona und Klimawandel, beschäftigen uns mit synthetischer Biologie und künstlicher Intelligenz, treffen alte Verwandte und vollständige Genome und legen neue Maßstäbe an Alte Maßeinheiten und neue Grenzen. Und wer jetzt noch nicht dank verschachtelter Umschreibungen auf alle zehn Dinge gekommen ist, der muss sich die Folge wohl doch anhören.
