The Art Outreach At Lagos City Senior College curated by Olusola Ayibiowu Organized by Creative Arts Solution Foundation
The art outreach has brightened Lagos State Govt Schools As Olusola David Ayibiowu curated for both visual art students and science students inclined to learn art.
Flasback since 2013, where Mr. Olusola David, Ayibiowu, is the Chairman and President of the Creative Arts Solution Foundation. Who first organized a free art workshop on still life drawings with the medium of pencil on paper, pastel, and water color for Gbadaga Senior Grammar School through our foundation as a non-governmental organization?
The first day of the 2013 workshop within school premises took place on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013, for still-life drawing and imaginative composition. The second and third part was on Friday, February 22nd, 2013 and February 25th 2013 for water color and oil pastel. And PowerPoint presentations. We had 10 students who participated in the 2013 workshop, and other students took pictures with us.
After the workshop, the school authority recommended that the foundation be given an approval letter in order to continue with the art workshop and competition for students, which we later received in collaboration with the Lagos State Government Ministry of Education.
Later on, in the year 2023, he also applied for an approval letter to organize "Art Outreach" for art students and other students who are inclined to learn visual arts for free, as our foundation gives out free art materials like drawing paper, pencils, and water color to work on during the art outreach. And we also organize drama, choreography, bead making, etc. If time permits, for senior secondary schools as well as their junior schools organized by the Creative Arts Solution Foundation, we partner with Lagos State Government Education District IV, the blooming district, with the backing of an approval letter given to the foundation through Mrs. Tayo-Subair, S.I. Director Co-curricular Science & Tech for Mr. Olusegun Olawale Osinaike, Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Education District IV.
The same year, he started curating the first art outreach on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, at Aje Comprehensive Senior High School. We had 210 students who participated during the art outreach.
Following are the Herbert Maucualay Girls Senior High School and Birrel Avenue Senior High School on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024. We've got 18 students from Herbert Maucualay Girls Senior High School and 51 students from Birrel Avenue Senior High School who participated in the art outreach.
The Lagos City Senior College art outreach took place on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. He had 50 students who participated.
