What are things like around here? What did your boss do before they were your boss? Wow did you end up with this job? Why are questions such a big part of This is Strategy? What is the change we seek to make? How did you choose the questions for The Strategy Deck? How big is our circle of us? How many people do I care about? Is the change we're making contagious? 3/22/2020 - Joe Kimmell - Luke 13:1-19:10 How many have us have been poor? What does being poor even mean? That answer will differ for each of us. Thankfully, Jesus has only one definition: ani. In this sermon, Jesus focuses on what it means to be truly poor in the most rewarding, yet uncomfortable sense of the word. Are you willing to listen to these words with sincere openness to the God who formed you?…
3/15/2020 - Joe Kimmell - Luke 10:1-12:48 Jesus invites us to consider true generosity that challenges our inmost beings and affects our everyday ways of life. His invitation asks us to consider prayer, money, possessions, anything that puts us face-to-face with our greediness. True generosity is giving freely and freely trusting in God's ability to provide for us. Will you hear this message and openly ask God to help you be free of your greed that you may live with a generous mind and heart?…
3/1/2020 - Joe Kimmell - Luke 7:1-9:36 Jesus is more than a strong religious leader or a prophet. Rather, Luke portrays Jesus as the new Moses. Moses was chosen by God to go to Egypt and proclaim freedom for God's people. This beautiful comparison is seen in Jesus, from his preaching of hope to the poor to so much more. Will you join us as we examine this Moses-like Jesus to further understand how Jesus is the One Way to hope and freedom?…
2/23/2020 - Ron Johnson - Luke 6:17-42 People come to Jesus for many reasons, whether its for healing or to sit at His feet. However, what we expect and what Jesus expects are two different things. Jesus came to bring a message of hope, but that message is not popular in today's culture. In fact, what Jesus brings in this message will be opposite to today's world message and quite contrary to our natural tendencies. Yet, will you rise to His call to be His disciple in His upside down kingdom?…
2/16/2020 - Joe Kimmell - Luke 3:20-6:16 Today we come to the launch of Jesus’ public ministry. We walk through his baptism, ancestry, temptation, and launch. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives…” Are you needing freedom and release? Join us and consider Jesus.…
2/9/2020 - Joe Kimmell - Luke 3:1-19 Why do I go to church or do religion, but still feel God is so far away? Today we come to the dynamic and uncomfortable message and ministry of John the Baptist. These words sometimes get passed on the way to sayings of Jesus that we want to hear...but these words can change our lives if we let them. Come and see.…
2/2/2020 - Joe Kimmell - Luke 1:1-2:52 Today we begin a series exploring who Jesus was through the eyes of the physician, Luke. If we were to begin again like we had no knowledge of Jesus, what would we notice? Join us as we begin this new series exploring Jesus.
1/26/2020 - Joe Kimmell\Matt Kimmell - Matthew 16:24-27 Today is a very special and bittersweet service as we are send off our dear friends Matt and Becca to go support a church plant in a nearby town. Pastor Matt also shares his heart on unity and the mission of God. Join us.…
1/8/2020 - Tom White - Romans 8:26 Our beloved friend and teacher Tom White came in for a special seminar teaching on the beginnings of learning to hear God's voice as well as general thoughts on intercession and the life of prayer. This came in preparation for our week of prayer and fasting, and it is rich! Listen in and enrich your prayer life!…

Today we consider the state of our desire for God and the way distractions may be holding us back from deep connection and growth. Join us as we explore the Hebrew idea of "kavanah."…
12/22/19 - Matt Kimmell -Isaiah 7:10-16 As we conclude the advent season and series Pastor Matt walks us through the passage that holds one of the most well known Messianic prophecies. Isaiah’s words about the virgin birth have resounded throughout the centuries in carols but we walk through the not-so-well known original context of this promise. Join us as we celebrate God with us!.…
12/15/19 - Joe Kimmell - Romans 8:23-25 Today is the 3rd Sunday of Advent.
