In this segment, I am presenting a French version of my Hindi poem “Mujh Jaisi”. I am excited to share that for this podcast I collaborated with France-based Krys. Krys inherited her deep love for poetry from her grandmother. She grew up reading the works of French poets such as Charles Baudelaire, Alphonse de Lamartine, Victor Hugo, and Alfred de Vigny amongst many others. Krys is working in the medical field and teaches therapeutic yoga. She’s also a daily practitioner of this age-old ancient discipline and philosophy for years. Krys says that her taste for reading and learning is inexhaustible... .................................. About the poem 'Mujh Jaisi': She comes in widely diffused plethora of colors, forms, actions, traits and looks-- deceptive they are, because deep within, she breathes in, every moment from the same melting pot of womanhood! Running through the universal sisterhood is a straight line of similar dreams and nightmares, toss of confidence and diffidence, challenges and opportunities alike..
